What is a Swap?

Occasionally members of a doll club or group decide they want to make and exchange dolls that pertain to a certain theme or a type of doll. One member will act as the Contact Person and coordinate that Swap with the Swap Coordinator. Members who wish to participate in that swap (they first must be registered as a swap participant) notify the Contact Person and the Swap Coordinator. They are then partnered with another Swap Participant and the fun beings. Many a great friendships have formed this way.

If ever a partner is let down there is always a kind person who is willing to step in and complete the swap. These kind people are known as angels. This way the partner who is stiffed is not left to feel she or he cannot trust people.
